Sustainability:::Holiday

I know it’s already the second week of November, which probably means it’s time to switch gears (back?) and start talking about Christmas and gift guides, etc. But I really LOVE fall and Thanksgiving and anything made of pumpkin and I feel like this time of year is so fleeting that I just want to stretch it as long as possible. But, to make up for the lack of all things red, green and recycled I’ve got some top notch sustainable Thanksgiving goodies to share today. Enjoy!
1. Flores Del Sol – Mercury Glass Centerpiece
When I saw this, it stole my heart. Oh to have these beautifully arranged flowers on my table this Thanksgiving! Better yet, they are preserved so they can be used next Thanksgiving as well!
2. Angel Ellie – Autumn Leaves Trivet
This lovely travertine tile has been hand painted, heat set (so it won’t smudge) and fitted with felt on the bottom (so it won’t scratch).
3. Kypres Jack Designs – Fall Berry Twig Wreath
In Phoenix we don’t see the effects Fall has on Mother Nature like much of the country does. This wreath is what I imagine this time of year is supposed to look like, full of berries, colorful leaves and twigs. Gorgeous!
4. Modernality – Candy Corn Pillow Cover
Who wouldn’t want this candy corn pillow cover on their favorite pillow adorning their couch. Made with felt recycled from plastic water bottles it’s not just sweet to look at, it’s sweet to the earth as well!

Melanie~

What wonderful fall finds! I’m all about making fall last longer. It only lasts around 2 weeks here! Thanks for letting my Candy Corn pillow cover be a part of such lovely fall items!
