A couple weeks ago in a Monday Sustainability post I shared these adorable hanging lanterns made from upcycled glass Mason jars.  And after being in contact with the lovely Tory & Andrew from The Cherry Grove, they have generously offered to give away a set of their small lanterns to one of our lucky readers!  The Cherry Grove specializes in creating unique “accessories” for your wedding day including these game bean bags that can be made to coordinate with your wedding colors and, of course, our fabulous giveaway lanterns!  But, no need to have a ring on your finger to enter this giveaway.  As I wrote before, these would make a great addition to a summer picnic, to your front porch or any upcoming outdoor event!

I was so happy to stumble upon Lucy Schwartz and her happy piano pop tunes last year and equally as happy to share this rising star with all of you!  Earlier this year Lucy’s “people” contacted me to share Lucy’s new EP “Help Me! Help Me” and I gotta say, it didn’t disappoint.  The title track is a tribute to the classic “horrible, terrible, no good, very bad day” we all experience, but paired with a bouncy tune and some fun horn arrangements, it will quickly turn your day around.  And as much as I love Lucy’s original compositions I think my favorite track on the EP is her cover of Aretha’s classic “Respect”.  It honors the original song but updates it with a fabulous guitar groove and Lucy’s great vocals.  (Note to all American Idol contestants: THIS is what you need to be doing!)  And since we’re in the spirit of sharing today, I was given the lovely privilege of sharing the “Help Me!…” single with my readers for FREE!  Download it here and download the full “Help Me!
