Wow!  The past couple weeks have been a blur here in Paper Mango land, and I really can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I’ve blogged.  Here’s a quick recap of everything I’ve been up to and a glimpse of things to come!

Weddings

I’ve been fortunate to have some time to design recently, and thankfully inspiration joined the party as well.  The result is a handful of new wedding invitation designs (including the suite pictured above) listed in my Etsy store as well as my brand new weddings only Artfire store.

I was thrilled to team up with my friend Kim and a bunch of other local business owners a couple weeks ago to participate in an online auction with proceeds benefiting the National MS Society.  Congrats to Angela who was a very generous bidder and helped a great cause while scoring a $200 Paper Mango gift certificate!

I’m currently working on a series of posts regarding a topic I get asked by nearly every bride I work with.  Invitation wording.  If you have any questions or confusions you would like addressed, leave me a comment and I’ll do my best to help you out!

The Holidays

It’s not even Halloween yet, but it seems like Christmas is in full swing here. (One of my favorite Christmas albums came on my iTunes the other day.  I didn’t stop it.)

As I was looking at my calendar this morning preparing for the day ahead I was suddenly struck with the fact that it is OCTOBER! There’s a few reasons why I probably didn’t realize this as I was looking at my calendar: 1. I’m pretty sure the whole of September passed in a span of two weeks. 2. It’s 105 degrees in Phoenix today. 3. I never know the actual date (and some times the day of the week escapes me as well). 4. I’ve been SO FOCUSED on getting the 2010 Paper Mango Holiday Collection in good form that I’ve been working with my head down the past few weeks.

Hi friends! There has been so much (SO MUCH) going on here at Paper Mango the past couple of weeks!   I’m going to share all the exciting stuff with you, but in little bits and pieces so that you don’t get overwhelmed. :) So keep an eye out for a few short updates here on the blog over the next few days.
