March was a good month. I made good progress with my goals and started feeling some sense of things getting back on track for me and Paper Mango.  To recap:

I did meet all of my wedding deadlines. One of my big April weddings was d-o-n-e done! last week and I’m sending a few final escort cards to my final April bride today. (Note to self: plan timelines for time intensive weddings better in the future.)  I’ve been posting regular Sustainability and Music to Create to features every week for the past few weeks and have a few more things in store for the blog in the upcoming months.  My dear friend Krysty Kay was in town a few weeks ago and took some pro pictures of my newer wedding invitation designs and I’ve started listing those on my Etsy store.  Taxes were filed and the state refund is in the bank…still waiting on Federal.  And shortly after I made a goal to move to Quickbooks I learned about Outright.com and have started the transition to using it as my bookkeeping/accounting program.

So…for April, there are a few “spill over” goals (listing wedding invites, finishing the transition to Outright.com) and a few new ones.  I’m really excited about incorporating more wedding features into my blog.  Although I wanted to avoid weddings like the plague when I first started Paper Mango, it’s really become the core of my business and I’ve come to really love working with brides and event coordinators.  Mother’s Day cards are listed on Etsy and just waiting to be purchased and I need to get a few graduation announcement designs ready for sale as well.  In addition to enjoying the beautiful Phoenix Spring weather, this is what my April is (hopefully) going to look like.  Good luck to all of my other Meetup friends!
